„The brain is wider than the sky." (Emily Dickinson) Carola Kassner leads us with her music and her pictures to cosmic worlds only fantasy can travel to. After studies in music, physics and astronomy she specialized in Space Music but also composed works for classical instruments such as the organ. She loves to make sound experiments with rare instruments such as the theremin. Her records „Planetary Voyage" and „The Space Experience" guide the listeners to the universe and accompany them to fantasy journeys through time and space. For Carola Kassner art is an extension of her musical expression and ideas. In all her instrumental works there are stories behind the music. You can find some of them in her pictures. During the last 8 years she gave many concerts in planetariums and wrote music for multimedia shows and radio dramas. |
